WHAT MATERIAL ARE THE ABSORBERS MADE OF?
The high sound-absorbing performance of our acoustic elements is achieved either through the fabric made from PES staple fibers, which our acoustic fleece consists of, or through the outstanding acoustic properties of the rock wool enclosed in a wooden frame.
The acoustic fleece contains approximately 60% recycled PET. It is dimensionally stable, tear-resistant, allergy-friendly, certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, and can itself be recycled.
Rock wool can also be recycled.
The colorful coverings of all acoustic panels are made from an acoustic fabric with a linen-like texture. This directs the sound waves into the PET-fleece core, achieving a high level of sound absorption.
CAN I WASH ALL ACOUSTIC PANELS?
The PET fleece itself can be wiped with a damp cloth and vacuumed.
You can remove the colorful covers of the PET fleece sound absorbers and wash them in the washing machine at 30°C using a gentle cycle.
HOW DO I BEST ARRANGE THE PANELS?
You achieve the best results by installing ceiling and wall panels together, as this allows you to absorb sound waves on all sides of the room.
If this is not possible, distribute the wall panels throughout the room. This prevents the walls from reflecting too many sound waves.
It is best to arrange the ceiling panels generously above the area where they are intended to work. This captures many sound waves directly.
HOW DO I MOUNT THE PANELS ON THE CEILING?
All ceiling panels are attached to the ceiling using screws and wall plugs.
For PET felt panels, we include screw hooks that you can simply twist into the panels by hand. Make sure that the attachment points are aligned symmetrically.
Next, thread the rope through the opening of the wire rope holder with hook. The screws, wall plugs, and the counterpart for the wire rope holder are screwed into the ceiling using a drill.
Then screw on the screw hook and adjust the rope length. Done!
You also attach hooks to the panels with wooden frames. These are then hung directly from the hooks in the ceiling.
The first-generation panels, which you can purchase in the clearance sale, already have the hooks attached. The rope is hung from these and then secured to the counterpart in the ceiling.
HOW DO I MOUNT THE PANELS ON THE WALL?
Die Wandpaneele aus PET-Vlies werden mit einem Klettsystem befestigt. Die Klettstreifen sind auf der Rückseite selbstklebend, sodass du nur die Folie abziehen musst.
Säubere die Wand vor der Befestigung von Staub. Bitte berühre die Klebeseite der Klettstreifen nicht mit deinen Fingern, da der Halt durch den Talg auf der Haut sonst nachlassen kann.
Drücke die Klebestreifen ca. 15 Sekunden an die Wand, damit die Klebeseiten gut haften können. Richte dein Paneel an der Wand aus und drücke es anschließend ca. 15 Sekunden auf den Punkten der Klettstreifen gegen die Wand.
Sollte die Platte schief hängen, kannst du sie mithilfe der Klettstreifen jederzeit neu ausrichten.
Die Akustikplatten der Serie DIVID werden mit doppelseitigem Klebeband an der Wand befestigt. Schneide das Klebeband so von der Rolle, dass es immer die Hälfte jeder Seitenlänge der Platte ausmacht. Klebe es mit ca. 5 cm Abstand von der Kante entlang auf das Paneel an. Anschließend richte die Platte an der Wand aus und klebe sie fest.
Die Wandpaneele mit Holzrahmen werden mit Dübeln und Schraubhaken geliefert, die du in die Wand schrauben musst.

It’s best to contact us in writing via the contact form on our website or by emailing service@silent4.com and describe the reason for your return. If you received damaged items, please contact us by email and attach photos.
We will then send you a link to the return label.
Once the package is securely packed and labeled with this shipping label, you can return it to us via a GLS parcel shop.
Which shipping provider will my packages be sent with?
We ship all our packages throughout Europe with DPD and GLS.
HOW ARE SHIPPING COSTS CALCULATED?
Shipping costs are calculated based on the item’s weight.
